I will Begin sketching the digipak cover as was discussed earlier. I'm going to use pencil and no colour for it so that the image seems more simplistic and vintage, however I may scan and retouch the image in Photoshop so that the contrast is boosted and any imperfections can be blurred out or airbrushed.
In the lesson today I began the initial placement of text onto a blank photoshop project with the same dimensions as a front CD case cover (4.75 x 4.75 inches). We decided as a group to use VTKS Etilosa font from www.dafont.com. We found that this suited our genre but was also eye catching and simplistic enough to make the final digipak more noticeable to a potential customer.
